Full Job Description

• Lead the conception, development, and successful launch of innovative products spanning our print and digital platforms.

 

• Conduct comprehensive market analysis to discern trends, identify opportunities, and position MCL as a trailblazer in the dynamic media industry.
• Work closely with diverse teams, such as editorial, marketing, Advertising, Circulation, and Habari Hub to align product strategies with overarching business objectives.

·       Partner with marketing and Editorial to find ways to meet subscriber and revenue goals by converting engaged readers into new subscribers and satisfying and retaining our existing subscribers.

• Prioritise user experience by incorporating feedback and leveraging data analytics to refine and enhance our products continually.
• Formulate strategies for revenue generation, increasing subscriptions, and exploring new avenues for monetisation, all in alignment with MCL’s strategic objectives.
• Oversee the maintenance of product quality and reliability, promptly addressing any issues and ensuring ongoing enhancements based on user feedback.
•  Stay abreast of industry innovations, emerging technologies, and media trends to propose and implement cutting-edge solutions that keep MCL ahead of the curve
